Official: 2014 Mazda3 gets 41 mpg starting at $16,495

Trims that begin with “i” will come equipped with the SKYACTIV 2.0 liter gasoline engine which offers 30 city and 41 highway mpg, while the trims beginning with “s” will give drivers the 2.5 liter SKYACTIV gasoline engine delivering more power and 28 city / 38 highway mpg. Those that purchase any of the “s” trim Mazda3’s will be able to opt in for the i-ELOOP regenerative breaking system which helps deliver even stronger fuel economy.
