With only a month having passed since the launch of the 2014 Mazda3, award nominations have started to pour in for the latest compact
redesign. The Mazda Experts at Don Mealey’s Sport Mazda Orlando, have helped several auto shoppers in the past
month get into a 2014 Mazda3 which has been named Green Car Journal’s “Top 5
Green Cars for 2014” making it a finalist for Green Car of the Year at next
month’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
As one of the only three gas powered nominees, the Mazda3
will be the Japanese automaker’s second year in a row to receive a nomination
since last year’s CX-5.
Green Car Journal selected the 2014 Mazda3 because of its “appealing
new design and has been built from the ground-up with Mazda’s award-winning
SKYACTIV technology.”
Equipped with a 2.0 liter SKYACTIV gasoline engine gives
drivers up to 41 mpg with 155 horsepower or drivers can get it equipped with a
2.5 liter SKYACTIV engine at up to 39 mpg with 184 horsepower.
